Your Contribution

As a UI Designer, you’ll shape the design and functionality of our SaaS platform, creating seamless, user-friendly interfaces that elevate our product’s usability and appeal. You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, requirements engineers, and developers to bring design ideas to life. Your work will be instrumental in delivering a refined, impactful experience to our customers, empowering them to unlock insights and achieve innovation.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

• Product Spec Analysis: Analyze and deconstruct product feature specifications, ensuring a thorough understanding and proper documentation in FigJam to support effective design alignment.
• User Flow Mapping: Map out detailed user flows in Figma to ensure a seamless and intuitive user journey from start to finish.
• Workflow Management: Create and maintain organized Figma setups, including libraries and design objects to streamline project workflows.
• Design Systems: Leverage and improve our Design System to streamline development and maintain design consistency. Develop and maintain design systems, UI libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms and products.
• UI Design: Create high-quality interfaces, including wireframes, mockups, and final designs, that enhance the user experience and align with brand standards.
• Illustration design: Improve/create icons/illustrations for our design system.
• Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to visualize the flow and interaction of the product and to aid in development handoff.
• Responsive Design: Design adaptive interfaces that provide a consistent experience across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers to integrate feedback from customer insights and usability testing into the UI, ensuring a cohesive user journey.
• Design Optimization: Gather and analyze feedback to iterate on designs, focusing on usability improvements and user satisfaction.
• Handoff to Development: Deliver high-quality Figma handoffs, providing developers with everything they need for an efficient build process. Prepare and deliver design assets, documentation, and specifications to developers, supporting a smooth transition from design to implementation.
• Maintain Best Practices: Stay current with the latest UI design trends, tools, and technologies and apply best practices to enhance the overall user experience.

Your Skills & Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Portfolio: Proven experience (3+ years) as a UI designer or similar role, with a strong and compelling portfolio (e.g., website, dribble, Behance, etc.) showcasing your UI design work and relevant projects.
• Visual Design Skills: Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy to create aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces.
• UI Design Tools: High level of proficiency in using Figma as a design tool.
• Understanding of UX Principles: Familiarity with UX methodologies, ensuring that UI designs align with research findings and provide an intuitive experience.
• Responsive Design: Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles for multi-device compatibility.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

NICE TO HAVE

• Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with developers.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Arts, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Collaboration Tools: Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Design Systems: Experience building or maintaining design systems.
• Agility: Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to take constructive feedback.
